The Toronto Stars Ask Why

The Toronto star has been running a campaign for the last several months called ask why. It uses a collection of photos with the simple caption ask why and it encourages the viewer to reflect on the meaning of the each image.

I have been using the collection of digital images over the past 6 weeks as a tool to engage the student in critical thinking skills, looking for whose voice is missing, what information is missing, as well as different media and visual techniques used.
